Hey all you wonderful fans out there! I have some questions. Would you come to a party in Seattle this Friday from 8-10 ish up on Capitol Hill? I'm trying to gauge if my notice is too short before I put my money down on a venue. Jelly doughnuts and toast will be provided and beer and wine as well as the best coffee in town will be available. You in? If there's someway you could RSVP on Facebook or via e mail at tinytdog@yahoo.com that would be great. Hopefully I'll know whether or not it's on by tomorrow. Also, If you could't make it this week, would you actually come if it was next month? Or would our fan roster triumph mean nothing to you after moving on to review Kristen Kerrs IMDB options?

Also, you are supposedly able to leave a comment on here without signing up for anything. Is this working? You used to need a Blogger or Gmail account, but I tried to open it up a little.

A New Place

Here we go! We are in a new place with all of our fans and about 100 people looking at the site each day! I'm feeling good, which is a new thing for me and J & T are going to come along for the ride. Swear Words!

We did it! I haven't checked this morning, but when I looked on Saturday, it was 150 to 149 Jelly and Toast! Thanks for everyone who helped make it happen and thanks for coming back to have a look at the strip. I am planning celebration party, so keep an eye out for those details.

Today I am posting the first Jelly and Toast comic I ever made! Their first performance was in a character animation assignment when I was in art school and I'm pretty sure there are no records remaining of that conversation. This is from a sketch book I was filling up when I lived in San Francisco. Probably around 2002/3. The conversation is moderated by a tooth character who (obviously) didn't last. Maybe mr tooth will come back someday! Thanks again and again for all of your support and encouragement. It has helped me to continue the comic as much as Jelly wanted to shut it down! Believe in your ideas and support your friends!

What a week! As you can see, the strip is changing as I go through some transformations myself. I've been wondering how it is to be just discovering the strip. Is knowledge of the J & T relationship key to understanding the current comics? Hmmm... I am wondering. Well, I don't know where we're going, but I sure know where we've been and I am grateful for every fan whether you're new or old, related or not. I'll keep sketching and kvetching and we'll see what happens! Thanks for looking!

Man! When I checked this morning, we had one hundred, forty-one fans! That's real close to one hundred fifty! When we get there, I'm having a party and all Facebook fans will be invited. So when I showed a friend my J & T comic, they said "Oh, this is like 'Mr Toast' which I later looked up on the internet fearing another episode of this-has-already-been-done. This Mr Toast guy has tons of merch and a very strong presence on his site. I'm thinking I need a website instead of this blogger thing, but it's working fine for now.

Alright! So it's taking me a lil' longer to get these up because the vault of previously scanned J & T's is at The Mac Store to fix an issue. Let's hope they don't all get lost! We're really gaining in the contest to get more fans than Kristen Kerr. Right now, I think it's 143 to 109. I decided that WHEN we finally triumph, I will invite all fans at that time to a party and those who cannot attend will get a special gift in the mail. These will be the benefits for joining early! So get your friends signed up over there to Facebook and become a fan of Jelly and Toast! Aight?

MAN! I have not gotten back on to the wagon. That thing is racing at a million miles an hour and I'm holding on, but I still have to swing my legs up. Hey Everybody! We're back! Did you miss us? Turns out I didn't make any comics while I was gone, but I'm right back into it now that I am home. We had a great time over there. Turns out they have jelly doughnuts too! Over there they are filled with rose jelly and they call 'em "PONCH-keys" which is a pretty cute name. No idea how to spell it though.
